That's right, we went to Charlotte yesterday to see the Tony-award winning musical, Wicked! It was fabulous!!! My parents purchased Kate and me tickets for our birthday and we decided to make it a family affair. Uncle Tim, Aunt Jana, and cousins Matt, Joanna, and English joined us, too! It made the day so much more fun getting to experience it all together!
Jana had been to see the show on Broadway and spread the word that when you go to see it in New York you are supposed to wear something emerald green. Hence, my toenails in the previous post... and a few more of our "emerald" accessories to keep the tradition alive.
I had always heard great things about Wicked, but the music was truly phenomenal! Wicked is the "The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz" and so cleverly wove itself into the legendary tale
The Wizard of Oz... in such an unexpected, touching way. Definitely deserving of a standing ovation!

I love the pictures, but Frank isn't looking to "wicked" in the last one. Glad you had a good time!
I want to see this so bad. . . ! But whatever you do, DON'T READ THE BOOK! Its pretty awful, I had to stop reading it . . . I've gone on Youtube to watch parts of the show. . .love it!
