MARCHin' Right Along

Well, March came and went and I did a terrible job updating this here blog. But, if I have any readers left, this is what we've been up to. Just before the beginning of the month, Meredith and I met up with Sandee and several other college friends to celebrate her 30th birthday.
We had a fun afternoon at the Ava Gardner museum and Hinnant-Edgerton Vineyard, celebrating our fun friend.

March was full of night-flying and schoolwork for Aaron, so the kids and I have had quite a bit of quality time lately.

We took a few pictures with Daddy on one of the rare evenings when he made it home before bedtime.

They sure do love him. I'm pretty partial to him myself.

March also meant the beginning of serious yardwork. Mowing season began with the cutting of weeds. Will was up and ready with his own lawnmower to help Daddy out.

We've also been enjoying walking in the beautiful weather. The post-bath, kids-in-their-jammies evening stroll has proven quite an effective bedtime approach. :)

And of course, we enjoyed cheering on the Tarheels throughout March Madness. Nevermind that hairy thing on Aaron's upper lip. He actually participated in Mustache March this year (much to my chagrin).

Thankfully it was brought to an early end when it was jokingly shaved into a Hitler-stache by his squadron-mates the night of his naming. That's right his new and official call sign is Blitz. Apparently, his German heritage and last name provided quite a bit of fodder for the event.

And those are a few highlights from March!

Love the stroller/bedtime idea! Cute Tarheel shirts, and hilarious new call sign.
