Prairie Arts Festival

The Saturday of every Labor Day Weekend, nearby West Point, Miss. hosts the annual Prairie Arts Festival. This year was the 32nd celebration. Arts and crafts vendors come from all over the state and set up in the park across the street from our church, with plenty of fried food and barbeque to enjoy! Alligator on a stick anyone?
The festival starts early, but since it coincides with the first day of dove hunting season, we didn't show up until around noon (shortly before naptime). Will was tired, but remained super mellow just taking in all the sights.
For us, the highlight was the little West Point train (little carts pulled by a tractor) that circles the festival. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed the time outside together as a family. We strolled around and met up with our new neighbors for lunch at the Old Towne Grill. All made for a very fun, relaxing day!

Oh! I feel so sad now. Just last year it was us with our little guys on that train. Remember how we were asked if the boys were twins?! If so then Will was the only one we were feeding!
