We unloaded our moving trucks just in time to head back to Greensboro for Thanksgiving. Per our usual custom, we start the day with Aaron's family and join up with mine in the midafternoon, closing out the evening with three very stuffed bellies. In the past, Grandma & Grandpa Kiser have hosted the feast, but having recently moved into an assisted living community that torch was passed to cousin Amy.

Thanksgiving
Oh me, oh my! I'm certainly running behind, and wishing that my advent calendar had more than another week's worth of doors to open. But since I don't have time to hold my breath and wait for that to happen, I'll start where I left off...

She and Aunt Jere put on a spectacular feast for our large group as we had some new folks at the table this year, including our new nephew Isaac, John's girlfriend, Meredith, and her little boy, Aiden. After dinner, we made a Christmas wreath for Grandma & Grandpa to hang on the door of their new home.
For as few pictures as I took during our visit, I didn't even pull my camera out of my purse at Nana and Papa's. But we were all there. We had another great meal, and wonderful time, and I suppose that's really all that matters. I promise myself to do better at Christmastime.
A few days later we went to see Grandma & Grandpa Kiser's new home. It's been a hard transition for them to make, but they seem to be making the best of it. Here we snagged a photo with four generations of Kiser men. Will looks unhappy, because after five pieces of chocolate out of Grandma's candy bowl we'd decided he'd had enough. I'm pretty sure he'll want to go back and visit them often.

I'm glad you guys were able to have such a good time at Thanksgiving. Sometimes, it is best just not to take pictures and enjoy the moment. I know that's shocking for me to say, but true story.
By the way, I totally love your new header picture!
