The final event of our trip was cheering on Hannah and her Hillside team at a swim meet.
Of course, when she wasn't in the pool, her little tagalong was right by her side.
The whole family made for quite a large cheering section. And we were camped out and ready for the 4 hour event!
At age 9, Hannah is one of the youngest in her age bracket, but she certainly is a competitor! For this race the 50m free, she was in lane two (second from the right).

Already starting to pull away from most of the pack.
She makes the turn for the final stretch before those beside her had even made it to the wall.
Go, Hannah, go! With a strong finish she nabbed 2nd place!
We were so excited and proud of her, and we definitely enjoyed the opportunity to see her in action.
