The rest of our week was filled with fun family time and good eats. We spent almost an entire day in the backyard pool. I was a big fan of this deluxe float, and Will loved being pulled around in the little boat. We worked up our appetites in time for our traditional clam bake.
Corn on the cob, chicken, potatoes, clams, and plenty of melted butter... mmmm!
Will adored spending time with Hannah and Gertie, Hannah's guinea pig. I must say, she was a pretty cute critter with an endearing little squeak. Hannah was a great helper and good sport when Will was determined not to leave her side.
And as if the boy didn't get enough fun on wheels, Drew let him drive his tractor around. Can you tell this little guy thinks being behind the wheel is serious business?!
We're high school sweethearts originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, now living life as an Air Force family. Aaron currently flies the F15-E Strike Eagle at Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base, NC. We are blessed with two great kids, our little boy, Will, and baby girl, Meredith, plus a loveable lab, Maddie, who loves to lick!
