The weekend before Christmas we packed into the van and drove up the road to Benson to see "the oldest and largest Christmas light show in Eastern North Carolina." We apparently picked the coldest and most crowded night to visit, but we still had fun.
Here are at least two pictures in an attempt to get a group photo... trust me, Meredith IS in her carseat, just burrrowed in under to her little tobaggan and blankets.
The biggest appeal of the light show was that we got to take in all the lights while riding around on a little train. Will thought it was amazing!

Afterwards we skipped out on Santa's old-fashioned candy store (maybe next year) and opted for a warm meal at Smithfield's BBQ. Good enough to rival any chocolate or peppermint stick, trust me!
