My doctor graciously agreed to do my ultrasound a couple of weeks early (at 16 weeks), so we could share the news in person with our family coming into town for the air show.
I decided to bake the secret into our dessert with the help of some food coloring. Kate did the honors of cutting the cake, while the big brother anxiously looked on.

The whole family is thrilled!!! It's still hard to believe, because Aaron had me convinced that we would most certainly have another boy, which I was actually excited about, too. But now, I'm dreaming of pigtails, flowers, dresses and bows....YAY!
