336th Ice Cream Social

Kelly, Jacque, and I hosted the July spouse coffee for our squadron.  We decided on an ice cream social at the pool.  I think it turned out pretty cute... only problem was that it was HOT as Hades that day!  Seriously, I think it was the hottest day of the summer.  Thankfully, most everyone brought their bathing suit and we were all able to eventually cool off in the pool.

 Here's the set-up.  I wish we had taken a group photo, or rather, I wish we hadn't looked all sweaty from setting up and would have wanted to take one.  :)

We enjoyed using yellow, our squadron color, to decorate with!  And I had fun making the paper banners....I was trying to reconnect with being crafty, it's been too long!

 I was also really excited about my ice cream cones.  They were so easy to make and turned out super cute.

 Just dipped them in colored melted chocolate and sprinkled with sprinkles.

 And this table was AWESOME!  It's called the chill and fill.  I rented it in town and it totally saved our ice cream from becoming ice cream soup.

 I do love a party and it was so fun to host with these ladies!  But next time let's host in the fall, shall we?! :)
