When Aaron came back from his TDY we had less than week together as a family before he left again, so we tried to make the most of it! We were able to enjoy some time at the neighborhood pool. Both kids LOVE the water!
We also had an early 30th birthday celebration for Aaron!
And tried to take a few pictures with our guy before saying goodbye.
Our last moment together as a family....ugh, it was a little chaotic and very quick!
At the time we thought he'd only be gone for two and half months, but 2 weeks before he would have come home he was extended for an additional two and a half. Quite an initiation into this season of military life! I have so much admiration and empathy for my fellow military wives who've been doing this a while now. It ain't easy! And it's really impossible to comprehend until you experience it. We've been blessed by so much support from friends and family. Really and truly. And the Lord has been so faithful to strengthen and sustain us during this time!

Paige, I admire you for being so strong while Aaron's been away. Said a prayer for grace and strength for you... I know it can't be easy. :)
