We spent a long Memorial Day weekend at North Myrtle Beach with Nana and Papa. I still remember how excited I would be as a kid to run out onto the sand and look at the waves as soon as we got out of the car. It's so fun to see Will share that same excitement.
This trip we went and checked out Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach. The hands down favorite were the sharks, although the "Nemo" and "Dori" fish were a close second.
The weather was perfect for soaking up some sun. Meredith seemed to love her first trip to the beach, at least from her vantage point under the tent.
And we participated in one of our favorite beach vacation past-times, miniature golf! Our favorite place is Lost Treasure Golf because you get to ride the train up to the top of the course. Will was thrilled and actually does a pretty decent job getting his ball into the hole.
It was relaxing, and a much needed time to spend as a family with Aaron's deployment on the horizon.
