Start Smart Soccer

In the Fall, Will played Start Smart soccer, a program available through the base.  He was so excited to play!

Rather than focusing on games, it's set up for 3-4 year olds to learn basic skills with a great deal of parental interaction.  Sounded like an excellent idea for quality time with his Dad... until his deployment was extended.  So Mommy stepped in (with little sis). I enjoyed playing him, it was just a little stressful keeping tabs on two kiddos that wanted to explore opposite ends of the field.  And focusing on the drills, focusing being the key word, was a little challenging for the 3 year olds.  Ha!
But, at least the kids ran off some energy.  And Will got to play with his sweet friend, Elli!  I loved her pink soccer accessories.

All in all, it was a good introduction to team sports!  And I guess that makes me officially a soccer mom... in a minivan... and I kind of love that!
