Saturday Friends

Shannon and Emily joined us one Saturday for a day at the pool.  I wish I had taken more pictures, but we were too busy having fun.   

 Shannon brought her cousins, Kayla and Kaden.  Will just adores them.  And Emily brought her adorable little boy, Lucas.  We played and splashed around for a long time before heading back to the house for some fish tacos.  Meredith went down for a nap while the rest of the kids had a blast on the play set.

During the deployment, weekends were usually the loneliest, so it was such a nice diversion to have them drive down for a visit.  We had so much fun, and the kids were worn out by the end of the afternoon.  I'm so thankful for their sweet friendships!
